These are not very noticeable, and virtually invisible when the pick guard is mounted. There are however, a few extra small holes near the pick guard. The guitar is in great cosmetic condition, especially considering it is about 30 years old. There aren't any noticeable scratches or dings. The neck is very comfortable and the guitar is easy to play.
It has real mother of pearl inlay and is equipped with a frequensator tailpiece. The neck is made of three piece maple and the body is five ply burl maple. It is finished in an antique sunburst and you can really see the grain. They sound incredible and can really get some awesome attack/bite and can get raunchy pretty quick.
The P-90 pickups are second to none (rumored to be made by Maxon). This is the best sounding Casino I have ever played. The Matsumoku made guitars have a long reputation for amazing build quality and tone. This is a pre-elitist/elite made in Japan Epiphone Casino. This is a very rare Epiphone Casino made in the early 1980's at the infamous Matsumoku plant.
